  • Minimum Amount of Supervised Driving 50 hours, including 10 at night, with a qualified supervising driver (i.e.-- an adult who’s at least 18 yrs old, has a valid driver’s license, and is approved by your parent or guardian to supervise your driving)
  • Unsupervised Driving Rules Intermediate license holders may not drive unsupervised between 11pm and 5am unless driving to/from work, school, an organized youth sports activity, or due to a medical necessity.
  • Passenger Rules Intermediate license holders may only carry one (1) non-family passenger who’s under 18 years of age unless a qualified supervising driver is in the vehicle. Additionally, every passenger in the vehicle must wear their own seat belt.
  • Other Driver education is a requirement for full-license applicants under 17
