  • Unsupervised driving rules Instructional Permit holders must always be accompanied by a licensed supervising driver who's at least 21 years old . Class D license holders may drive unsupervised, but are not allowed to drive at all between 12 midnight and 6am (no exceptions)
  • Passenger rules Minor drivers with a Class D License may not drive with any non-family passengers for the first six (6) months. During the second six (6) months, they may drive with only one (1) non-family passenger who is younger than 21 years old. After 12 months, they may drive with three (3) non-family passengers in the vehicle who are less than 21 years in age.
